Executive Team

Karen Mayhew - Chief Executive

Karen was one of the original founding Executive Directors for Havebury, transferring from St Edmundsbury Borough Council in 2002. Prior to this, she worked in housing for over 30 years, with wide ranging experience from the Greater London Council to a post in a London overspill town, along with West Kent and Suffolk.

Karen is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and the Royal Society of Arts, and a member of the Institute of Directors.
 


   

Paul Edwards - Director of Resources and Company Secretary

Paul joined Havebury in 2009 and has overall responsibility for Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology, as well as corporate governance through his role as Company Secretary.  He has worked in the social housing sector for ten years and was previously Director of Treasury Services at Swan Housing Association.  He also sits on the Board of Welwyn Hatfield Community Housing Trust. 

Paul graduated from the University of Warwick in 1999 with a degree in Mathematics and Business Studies, and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Institute of Directors.

 

 

Philip Sullivan – Director of Operations and Deputy Chief Executive

Philip joined Havebury in 2010.  Prior to this, he worked for several years in housing management for a London borough, and then took roles at Guinness Trust as Anglia’s Area Manager, Head of Housing in London and Director of Customer Service for Guinness Midsummer. 

Philip is a Chartered Surveyor and member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.  He has a real passion for delivering excellent customer service.
