PlaceShapers - representing the Housing Association industry
Havebury is part of PlaceShapers, a national group of more than 100 community based housing associations formed in 2008.
About the PlaceShapers Group
Collectively the group owns more than 700,000 homes, provide services to more than one million people and employs over 70% of our staff locally.
Together PlaceShapers completed over 40,000 new affordable homes between 2008 and 2012 and collectively plan to invest around £5bn to deliver a further 32,000 new homes by 2015.
PlaceShapers came together as a lobby group because organisations saw the importance of working in depth with partners at a local level to achieve real improvements within an area. Good housing is the bedrock for a decent life and we are conscious of our pivotal role as change agents.
Unemployment, crime, poor health and low educational achievement are all linked so what we do as housing organisations to help residents, local government and other agencies work together can make a huge difference to lives.
