Improvements

We are constantly improving our homes and we have a schedule of improvements. If you wish to know what improvements are happening in your street, please use this link:

 Digital Switchover

To keep your TV service, you will need to convert your TVs to digital before your area’s switchover date which for East Anglia is 2011. DigitalUK are managing the scheme nationwide on behalf of the Government, and will be sending out information to all homes prior to switchover.

You can get help with the switchover if you are aged 75 or over, or you get (or could get): disability living allowance attendance or constant attendance allowance mobility supplement or you’re blind or partially sighted. It costs £40, but if you’re eligible and on certain income-related benefits, it’s free. If you’re eligible, the Switchover Help Scheme will be in touch in plenty of time to ask if you want help.

If you live in one of our sheltered schemes or in one of our flats supplied by a communal aerial, work is already taking place to upgrade the systems – all you need to do is ensure that you have the right equipment to be able to receive digital TV so think about the television and video recorder that you have.

If you have any more questions visit » DigitalUK or call 08456 50 50 50*
* Calls provided by BT charged at up to 2p per minute daytime and 0.5p per minute evenings (plus 6p BT connection charge). Rates may vary for calls from other providers including mobile operators.
