Havebury Housing Partnership appoints new Director of Operations
Suffolk-based housing association Havebury Housing Partnership has appointed Anita Jones, its current Head of Housing, as the company’s new Director of Operations.
Anita will take over the position from current Director of Operations and Deputy Chief Executive Philip Sullivan who will be moving to Tower Hamlets Community Housing as their new Chief Executive.
Anita Jones, who joined Havebury in 2010 and has a wealth of experience in the affordable housing sector said: “I am thrilled to be taking on Philip’s role as Director of Operations and to the new challenges that the position will bring.
This is an exciting time for Havebury as an organisation and I’m delighted to be part of a team that continues to focus on building strong relationships with our tenants.”
Chief Executive, Karen Mayhew said:
“It was a very competitive recruitment process and we chose Anita because she is the right person to match our core values. We are confident that with Anita’s extensive knowledge of both the housing sector and Havebury she will be invaluable in contributing to the organisation’s future success.”
Mrs Mayhew added: “We are incredibly grateful to Philip for his hard work, commitment and contribution to Havebury since joining the organisation in 2010. Without a doubt, I am confident that he will make his mark at Tower Hamlets Community Housing and wish him every success in his new role.”
The new appointment also means that all three of Havebury's Executive Directors are female, as Marie McCleary, Director of Resources completes the team.
