Havebury Housing Partnership is celebrating being awarded the Investors in People Silver accreditation.
Internationally recognised, Investors in People (IIP) has set the standard for people management excellence and is designed to get businesses to improve their working culture, make sure employees are fully engaged and encourage great leadership.
The Suffolk-based housing association has been accredited since December 2008 and to achieve accreditation were assessed against the new IIP framework.
Previously achieving Bronze in 2012 and awarded their first Silver accreditation in December 2014, the news of a second Silver award was a great way to start the year.
Katy Frith, HR Manager at Havebury, said: “We are extremely proud to have successfully achieved the Silver Award for Investors in People. It’s fantastic to see that the commitment of all of our employees and the investment that we make in our people is being recognised at this level.”
IIP assessor Viv Scott praised Havebury and commented: “Havebury has successfully met all the requirements for the Silver Award for Investors in People. Congratulations are certainly in order as the new framework raises the bar and Havebury are making use of the Investor in People framework to enable them to attract and retain good people.”
