Thanks to a partnership arrangement with MENTA (The Suffolk Enterprise Agency), Havebury are again offering tenants the opportunity to attend a series of free workshops aimed at people who are thinking about working for themselves.
1st October 2013 - This morning workshop will cover such areas as:
Personal strengths and weaknesses
Pro’s and con’s of working for yourself
Is the business idea a good one?
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
8th October 2013 - The second morning workshop will provide more detailed information to enable participants to put together a Business Plan including:
Important facts including legal structures, tax and national insurance, business premises, how to choose a business name and what legal issues need thinking about
Cash flows and breakeven
A template for a business plan
15th October 2013 - The final session will provide a 90 minute one-to-one meeting with the trainer to obtain impartial, confidential business advice and to go through any business plan they have prepared.
