Pride in your Postcode

Some of the actions identified last year were:

• Wooden steps on the Priors Estate were refurbished with concrete ones after being identified as being slippery

• A damaged tree on the Howard Estate was felled after a professional assessment to ensure the safety of all residents in the area

• The ceiling of a walkway on the Chalkstone Estate was identified as needing a repaint and this work has now been ordered

• Several incidents of graffiti were spotted and subsequently dealt with on the Clements Estate

Other actions, carried out in conjunction with St Edmundsbury Borough Council and Havebury contractors, include the removal of fly tips, litter and abandoned vehicles, replanting and shrub pruning, all of which have considerably enhanced estates.  You will be kept up to date on the progress of any actions that are identified during your estate inspection.

To help us improve the look and feel of your estate, please come and join us where you can discuss your views with our Neighbourhood Team. For further information telephone 0300 3300 900.
