Havebury Housing Partnership, along with Ground Control and a number of local agencies, enjoyed a week-long programme at the Clements estate in Haverhill in an attempt to improve areas within the estate that had been highlighted in its Neighbourhood Vision plans. We can now reveal a detailed summary highlighting the success of the event:
Summary (all figures are finalised from the entire week)
•An extraordinary 5 tonnes of waste was collected over the duration of the week
•25 bags of litter rounded up from the estate
•Over 20 copies of our most recent Neighbourhood Vision document were handed out
•Over 20 of our homes had benefitted from our FREE waste collection service
•15 Havebury, 10 Ground Control, four St Edmundsbury Borough Council, two Haverhill Ambassadors, two HAM’s, two Catch 22 volunteers, a team of white liners and Clarkes Fencing all involved at some stage during the Spring Clean week.
