Compiled from the views of its 200 employees and the company policies, Havebury was recognised for its optimistic team, with 75% of employees feeling that they have a positive future in the company – ranked sixth amongst all small not-for-profit organisations.

Feedback from the survey also expressed that 81% of staff believe that Havebury has a strong social conscience, and 78% of staff view the training they receive as extremely beneficial.

Factors that have led to Havebury’s significant rise to a top 20 finish in the best companies to work for includes the support from the organisation’s Management Team, as well as the generous reward and recognition packages that employees receive whilst working for the affordable housing provider.

Karen Mayhew, Chief Executive at Havebury Housing Partnership, said:

“We are thrilled to hear that we have been placed in the top 20 Not-For-Profit organisations to work for.

It is essential to contain a happy workforce within the office in order to be successful, as it means that tenants in our 6,000 homes can be assured of a consistent, high quality service that our staff provide.”

The news follows Havebury’s success of being awarded with an Investors In Peoples Silver accreditation status in December 2014, after going beyond the required standard to meet an additional 87 indicators from the wider Investors in People framework.
