Jordan, from Tollgate Lane in Bury, joined the housing association’s Apprenticeship Scheme in September 2014 and has worked on numerous PR events and marketing campaigns across all areas of the business.
A newcomer to the Housing Industry, as part of his apprenticeship, Jordan gained an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration in December 2015.
Currently working in the Communications team, Jordan said: “I am delighted to have been chosen as Apprentice of the Year at the 2016 CIH Eastern Awards. It has been a thoroughly enjoyable and challenging experience. Completing my apprenticeship with Havebury has not only increased my confidence, but it has also given me two years of valuable experience that will stay with me for the rest of my working career.”
Karen Mayhew, Chief Executive of Havebury Housing Partnership said: “On behalf of the organisation, we are thrilled that Jordan has been awarded Apprentice of the Year. Not only is this a tremendous achievement for someone of his age, but it is also a testament to his hard work and dedication to Havebury over the past 18 months.”
Jordan will join nine other regional winners at the Housing Heroes Awards 2016 in Manchester at the end of June for the chance to be awarded the coveted national award.
