Havebury’s Wellbeing Week Is A Step In The Right Direction

Havebury Housing Partnership held their very own wellbeing week in their offices in Bury St Edmunds

The wellbeing week consisted of a range of activities. Including;

  • desk yoga
  • daily step challenges
  • workshops
  • Boot Camp classes

All designed to promote physical and mental health awareness to our staff members

Marie McCleary, Director of Resources at Havebury, said:

“Our Wellbeing Champions created a variety of engaging events and resources. Aimed at helping and encouraging healthy living both at work and at home. As an organisation, want to invest in our team. This is why so it’s important that we inspire employees to look after their wellbeing. Whether it’s changing eating habits or trying a new activity.”

We created a brand new employee incentive focused on tracking physical activity. This incentive will continue to run beyond wellbeing week.

We also worked with Nick Smith Fitness and Slimming World’s Kelly Cooper on fitness and healthy eating sessions.

Nick Smith, owner of Nick Smith Fitness, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to be involved with Havebury’s Wellbeing Week. I was impressed with the efforts of the team who took part in the Boot Camp sessions. Everyone worked hard while retaining their sense of humour. Exercise should be fun and not feared, and the Havebury team certainly epitomised that.”
