Jail and Bail – Havebury win ‘Best Fundraiser 2019’

Jail and Bail event raises £2,525.00 for local hospice

Jail and Bail at Havebury Housing Partnership. On Friday 25th October at 8.30am Havebury’s Chief Executive, Andrew Smith left the Havebury offices in a police car.

St Nicholas Hospice organised a ‘Jail and Bail’ event. This involved 12 arrests, happening at their place of work. The 12 individuals sat awaiting trial at The Guildhall in Bury St Edmunds, all in the name of charity!

Each company representative pledged to raise £1,000 for their bail

Havebury has, so far, managed to raise £2,700.00 in aid of St Nicholas Hospice.

With Andrew receiving a ‘Best Fundraiser 2019’ award on the day.

A huge well done to all involved & St Nicholas Hospice for organising such a successful and worthwhile event.
