We need you to be part of our Board

Do you think you would be the perfect fit?

We are pleased to be able to announce four vacancies for Board members to sit on our committees.

Did you know that we manage over 6,800 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership in the East of England?

We are proud to offer people a place they can call home and work together to build a strong sense of community that our tenants can be part of.

The Operations Committee

This committee focuses on performance, service delivery, neighbourhoods, and tenant engagement.

We are looking for two tenants who want to become board members and one tenant who would like to become Chairperson.

What skills are we looking for?
Are you from a housing or assets background and feel you could bring something extra to the team or are you passionate about bringing change for fellow tenants and holding Havebury accountable for its operational behaviours? We want to hear from you! You can view the outline of the role for Chairperson here and committee member here.

Please note you do not need to have any experience in working in social housing to apply for these positions.

The Development Committee

The role of this committee is to oversee the delivery of the Development Strategy and development programme. The committee approves development schemes and scrutinises the delivery of the development programme. This is to ensure programme targets and quality standards are maintained.

We are looking for one tenant who would like to sit on this board.

What skills are we looking for?
Do you have a background in social housing and public policy? Are you, or have you ever been an estate agent and feel you can bring development and commercial awareness to the board.
