In June/July 2021 we asked for feedback on our proposal to build 15 affordable homes on the land off Newmarket Road, Barton Mills.
The development will comprise a mixture of homes including 1,2,3 bedrooms homes both for rent and shared ownership.
Barton Mills is a village of more than 1,000 residents in the West of Suffolk. The village itself offers a pub and church and is within a short drive from Newmarket, Thetford, and Bury St Edmunds. All towns have schooling for all ages and a variety of supermarkets and shopping facilities, as well as train stations convenient for all major commuter lines.
We were overwhelmed with the positive responses from our online web portal and our face-to-face consultation and we wanted to say thank you to everyone who got involved. It is so important that local people have the opportunity to be a part of Barton Mills’ future.
