Resident Involvement

Resident Involvement

We want to include our tenants in everything that we do through resident involvement

We want to ensure that the services we provide to our tenants are shaped by our tenants, so we know we’re making the best use of our time and money. As a result, we encourage everyone to get involved in what we do. Here are just some of the ways you can help us make Havebury even better for everyone:

Tenants’ Forum: Members have a huge involvement in what goes on within the organisation. They give feedback on everything from policy changes to home improvement specifications.

Performance and Scrutiny Panel: The group reviews our services from a customer perspective, making recommendations for improvement.

Equality and Diversity Panel: Members ensure that Havebury’s services are inclusive of all. They also look into our policies and procedures, making sure they do not exclude any group or treat anyone unfairly.

Each of these groups meets approximately once a month. All of our volunteers receive Love2Shop vouchers annually as a reward for their dedication and time. If you are over 18 and would like to get involved, call 0300 3300 900 or email residentinvolvement@havebury.com.

The Housing Ombudsman Service published a new Complaints Handling Code in July 2020.

All landlords were required to self-assess and publish against this code by 31 December 2020. Our assessment of this is here https://www.havebury.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Self-assessment-form-HHP.pdf
