Our tenants and the community

The Havebury team is all working remotely. But while we're not in the office, you will continue to receive the excellent customer service you have come to expect from us.

If you are a part of the Havebury community, you can get in touch with any issues you may have. Whether it’s to discuss your rent, query your tenancy or you’d just like a chat, our friendly team are here for you. All our contact details are here.

Independent living

Our Independent Living Team has been getting in touch with all our vulnerable tenants and those over 70 to ensure they’re doing OK. As well as welfare advice, we can signpost you to extra resources that could make life a little easier.

Support for local charities

Havebury has donated £5,000 to both Reach in Haverhill and Gatehouse in Bury St Edmunds. Both organisations are doing fantastic work to support individuals through Covid-19.

If you need an emergency food parcel, Reach will conduct a telephone assessment and then arrange a time slot for collection. Visit their website for more details. Alternatively, click here to find out more about Gatehouse.

Stay safe when at home

Your health and safety is of vital importance to us. Here are some useful resources to ensure you and your family remain safe in your homes:

The Housing Ombudsman Service published a new Complaints Handling Code in July 2020.

All landlords were required to self-assess and publish against this code by 31 December 2020. Our assessment of this is here https://www.havebury.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Self-assessment-form-HHP.pdf
