PlaceShapers - representing the Housing Association industry
Havebury is part of PlaceShapers, a national group of more than 100 community based housing associations formed in 2008.
About the PlaceShapers Group
Collectively the group Manage 930,000 homes including rent, shared ownership and supported housing and provide services to more than two million people.
Together PlaceShapers house one in four people who live in a housing association home and will build more than 118,000 new homes by 2023. 100% of profits are re-invested into our homes and communities.
PlaceShapers came together as a lobby group because organisations saw the importance of working in depth with partners at a local level to achieve real improvements within an area. Good housing is the bedrock for a decent life and we are conscious of our pivotal role as change agents.
Unemployment, crime, poor health and low educational achievement are all linked so what we do as housing organisations to help residents, local government and other agencies work together can make a huge difference to lives.
