Investors in People
Investors in People is a quality standard. It focuses on delivering continuous improvement in service delivery. Done through the development of all employees within an organisation.
In December 2014 Havebury went through the re-accreditation process.
We gained the IiP Silver award in recognition of the training and development opportunities.
It also included looking to improve communication channels, leadership and management alongside employee engagement.
Havebury achieved a silver accreditation after going beyond the required standard. Havebury met an extra 87 indicators from the wider Investors in People framework.
Top 20 Best Not-for-Profit Company to Work For
We ranked 19th in the 2016 Sunday Times 100 Best Not-For-Profit organisations to work for.
Seeing a formidable rise in the rankings after finishing 73rd in 2013, and 68th place in 2014.
Compiled from the views of our 200+ employees and company policies, we were recognised for being an optimistic team.
With 75% of employees feeling that they have a positive future in the company. We ranked sixth amongst all small not-for-profit organisations.

Better Health – Better Business
Healthy Ambitions Suffolk is a project to make Suffolk the healthiest county by 2028.
Launched in November 2008, it brought together the county’s leading public services. Working alongside the private and independent sectors, community groups and individuals. Aiming to help everyone in the county enjoy longer, happier, healthier lives.
To be successful in making Suffolk the healthiest county we want to inspire individuals, businesses and our local communities to take responsibility. Both for their health and to make positive changes to their lifestyle.
As part of our role in this, we look after the wellbeing of our employees. In the Better Health – Better Business awards scheme we were in receipt of a Silver award.

Havebury is a Mindful Employer
The Charter for Employers who are Positive about Mental Health is a voluntary agreement seeking to support employers in working within the spirit of its positive approach. The Charter is one element of the MINDFUL EMPLOYER® initiative. Aimed at increasing awareness of mental health in the workplace and supporting businesses in recruiting and retaining staff.
A wide range of employers from all over the UK is involved in the initiative which gives businesses and organisations easier access to information, practical support, training, networks and assistance from other employers.
