IMPORTANT

To help the team prepare for another year of being able to support residents with hardship and/or elevating barriers that can impact a resident’s tenancy. Our support fund is paused until 1 May 2025. You can still contact our Financial Inclusion team for support and advice, but they are not able to provide any financial support until the beginning of May.

Once completed, we will contact you within fifteen working days to discuss your current circumstances and identify any support we may be able to provide or refer you to. Please note that all applications need to identify genuine hardship or a tenancy risk, and where necessary, we may need to complete an income, expenditure, and welfare assessment. In some cases, to help support applications, we may request to see your bank statements.

Any award made is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • The grant will only be spent for the purpose for which it is given.
  • Any item/s we purchase through our support fund will be gifted to you.
  • You will not sell any item/s that we have gifted to you through this fund.
  • Any item/s that is gifted will become your responsibility. We will not repair or replace items.

We recommend that you get independent debt advice from an organisation such as Citizens Advice. They can help you reprioritise non-priority payments and help you manage any debt.

Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and there is no right to appeal the decision.
