Everyone’s situation is different. If you’re struggling to pay your rent, please call us as soon as you can to find out how we can help. Our Income Team can agree an individual payment plan with you to best suit your circumstances. They can also help you apply for the relevant benefits if necessary.

  • Tenants' Hardship Fund

    Havebury tenants who are suffering financially as a result of the coronavirus pandemic can apply for grants of up to £250 each.

    A £40,000 Covid‐19 Hardship Fund has been created by Tenants’ Forum, with grants to be distributed throughout the year.

    35 applications have already been processed, with tenants receiving help for food bills, rent arrears and replacement of faulty items in the home. Other support could include fuel costs or a grant to move into a Havebury home. Havebury Chief Executive Andrew Smith said: “We would like to thank the Tenants’ Forum for this generous decision. It will have a hugely positive effect on our residents who need extra help.”

    To apply for a grant of up to £250, tenants can call Havebury’s Income and Welfare team on 0300 3300 900, selecting options 2, 2 and 3.
