  • What If you cannot complete job on visit?

Book follow on visits direct with the tenant if, parts are readily available, and you are the only technician required.

If works require multiple trades/access equipment or unusual materials advise the tenant that the works will be booked in with them later (SLA to call back with an appointment?) – Put back job as Out of scope/follow on works.

  • What if I need Access Equipment/Heavy Plant?

In future, access equipment (tower scaffolds etc) and heavy plant (concrete mixers, breakers) will need to be ordered on Connect – Buildbase who will be working closely with our schedulers will then co-ordinate delivery on the day of arranged appointment for works.

  • What will happen with left over materials such as plastic sheet?

There is a timber mill on-site at Buildbase in Haverhill, if you know the measurements required you can add to notes on Connect or call Buildbase. They can then cut the material accordingly, this may be useful for lengths of worktop to save waste and manual handling on site.

  • How do we use the Stock and Go app?

The app will apply to the van, if you change vans temporarily you can type in the van registration to log onto what is provided in that vehicle.

  • Are we changing all the van stocks?

Yes, all vans will be refitted with new stock, so we know exactly what is on your van and on the app. You will receive an invited appointment to attend at Haverhill Buildbase to have your stock changed over.

  • What will be in the pop ups?

The pop-ups in Bury St Edmunds and Stanton will contain OOH materials and plant plus materials commonly used by technicians but are not their primary trade. This stock will develop as we move forward and understand our demand better in that area.
