It’s been another busy month for the Resident Voice team, with lots of opportunities to meet residents, hear their views, help with any concerns they’ve raised as well as celebrate residents who entered our competitions.
The team continued their regular monthly drop-in at Vinefields, giving residents a chance to speak to us, share their feedback and make sure their concerns are heard whilst works are ongoing.
The Westbury Community Centre drop-in was another great success, with lots of residents coming along for support and advice. Teams helped with a range of issues, including tenancy management and repairs. Where possible, our teams were able to resolve queries there and then, giving residents the advice and support they needed straight away. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event.
The team hosted an Ely pop-up for residents in Ely and the surrounding areas. Although turnout was lower than some of our other events, we were still able to spend time with those who attended and help with their queries.
We’ve also been out celebrating our residents’ achievements, presenting certificates to the winners of our Tallest Sunflower Competition and Sustainable Outdoor Award. It was lovely to recognise the time, creativity and effort residents have put into making their gardens and outdoor spaces special. Thank you to everyone who took part. You can find out more about that here.
Finally, the team joined the Clements neighbourhood check-in, carrying out a litter pick while looking at the estate and talking about issues affecting the area. Resident’s identified some grounds maintenance concerns which were raised with the local council as well as our Grounds Maintenance team.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to speak to us, get involved in our activities and share your feedback this month. Your feedback helps us understand what matters to you and where we can make a difference in your community.
