Community Investment Grant application

This form will take around 15-20 minutes to complete.

Our CIG funds improvements that benefit not only our residents but the wider community.

We have an annual budget to invest in community projects. Unfortunately we are not able to consider applications requiring support with running or staffing costs.

Please note. Applicants will be asked to declare whether they or any individual directly involved in the project, have any personal, financial, or other interest that could reasonably be perceived as influencing the CIG process. Any declared conflicts will be reviewed and managed appropriately prior to community voting to ensure fairness and transparency.

To be eligible for funding, projects must:

• Be delivered on a not-for-profit basis
• Clearly identify a specific community need
• Be located within five miles of a Havebury home or estate
• Provide a detailed financial plan
• Demonstrate clear and measurable community benefit
• Be led by a registered business, charity, or social enterprise
• Contribute to our strategic objective of investing in existing homes and communities.

Projects must also align with at least one of the following themes:

• Safety and security (e.g. neighbourhood watch schemes)
• Community hubs and shared spaces
• Food banks
• Community activities and social connection
• Youth provision (including cadets, scouts/guides and youth groups)
• Support groups
• Pre-school, childcare, or educational initiatives
