You may live in a building with a lift or have lifting equipment in your home.

Stannah will service your:
- stair lift annually, if it’s under warranty
- stair lift every six months, if it’s out of warranty
- floor lift every four months
They’ll contact your directly to arrange these appointments. If, after three attempts, they haven’t been able to book in an appointment with you, they’ll get in touch with us and we’ll try and book this appointment in. It’s really important that you equipment is serviced to ensure it continues to work safety. Please note that Stannah respond to all emergency repairs within four hours, which means service appointment may need to be rearranged to ensure emergencies are dealt with promptly.

Alongside your service, BES carries out routine inspections on your stair lift or floor lift every six months. This is to make sure the equipment is safe and continues to work as it should.
They’ll send you a letter one month before the appointment is booked to let you know when it will take place. If the scheduled appointment doesn’t work for you, please contact BSG to let them know and they will rearrange the appointment for a day and time that suits you better. It’s really important that these inspections take place.
During the inspection, if BES find a fault with your equipment, they’ll arrange for Stannah to fix this for you.
