How we can help
Our Supported Housing Advisors can offer a wide range of support, including:
- Home visits, calls or emails to assess any support needs
- Referrals and signposting to other agencies and support services
- Completing Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) for residents who may need help leaving their home in an emergency
- Organising and attending scheme visits and coffee mornings
- Monitoring emergency pull cords and “I’m OK today” systems, and responding when help is needed
- Support with gardening or decorating schemes (subject to eligibility)
- Advice on aids and adaptations to help you live safely and comfortably
- Guidance and assistance with Homelink applications and bidding
- Delivering and programming emergency pendants for scheme residents
- Helping with Independent Living scheme suitability checks, viewings and sign-ups
- Settling-in visits for new residents who may need a little extra support
- Making safeguarding referrals where needed
- Supporting residents with low-level hoarding
- Helping build trust with residents who feel anxious about allowing access for repairs or visits
- Providing small-scale financial support through our support fund
