Our Tenancy Sustainment and Hoarding officers support our residents to sustain their tenancies where there may be support needs they have which means they are finding maintaining their tenancy hard. They also help our residents to reduce hoarding in their home to keep them safe.

The team take a non-judgmental approach and signpost our residents for further support where needed.

We want to work alongside you to help maintain your tenancy, improve your wellbeing, and connect you with the right services and support.

The team can help with things like:

Living Skills

  • Practical advice on keeping your home safe and in good repair
  • Support with establishing and maintaining routines at home
  • Help to get online and become more digitally confident

Tenancy management

  • Guidance to understand your tenancy rights and responsibilities
  • Support to avoid tenancy enforcement action

Money management

  • Help with budgeting to make sure rent and essential bills are covered
  • Advice on finding competitive energy providers and setting up utilities
  • Signposting to affordable furniture and household items

Health & wellbeing

  • Referrals and joint working with specialist services, such as adult care, mental health, and housing related support
