Andrew Smith: Chief Executive

Andrew Smith: Chief Executive

Andrew has worked in the housing sector for more than 26 years. He began his career as an architect working in London. He moved to Circle 33 Housing Trust in the early 1990s. From there he took on many high profile roles, including director of property services. Andrew was also the executive lead for Circle 33’s expansion into Cambridgeshire.

Andrew became the operations director in 2000 for Oxford Citizens Housing Association. This later joined forces with Westlea Housing Association in 2008 and Oxbode Housing Association in 2012, becoming the GreenSquare Group.

Scott Bailey: Director of Development and Deputy Chief Executive

Scott Bailey: Director of Development and Deputy Chief Executive

Scott is responsible for the delivery of new homes at Havebury. These include HCA grant-funded programmes and direct purchases from housing developers, as well as shared ownership opportunities and full market sales.

Before working for Havebury, Scott held senior roles at the Housing Corporation. Prior to this, he was a lobbyist at the housing charity Shelter and worked for a national housing association.

Marie McCleary: Director of Resources and Company Secretary

Marie McCleary: Director of Resources and Company Secretary

Marie handles the management of Havebury’s financial affairs. This includes funder relationships, regulatory compliance, and information technology and business performance.

Marie is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Before joining Havebury, she held many finance director roles within the NHS in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire across a 15-year period.

Before this, Marie worked as an accountant in the City of London financial services sector.

Jenny Spoor: Director of Operations

Jenny Spoor: Director of Operations

Jenny joined Havebury in October 2020 and is our director of operations. She is responsible for asset management and repairs services, complaints and customer experience, communications, housing management, resident engagement and supported housing.

She has worked in housing for over 20 years, with 15 years in senior leadership positions, primarily within housing associations. She is passionate about delivering the best customer experience and services throughout the organisation and to our residents, homes and communities.
