James Stiff Cottages – Rougham

We've submitted planning permission to future-proof James Stiff Cottages in Rougham.

James Stiff Cottages in Rougham is a group of 14 homes which we own and manage.

After discussing possible options with the current residents, we’ve now submitted planning permission to regenerate the building – providing 11 homes, including four one-bed bungalows, four two-bed bungalows, a three-bedroom house and two one-bed houses.

Scott Bailey‍, our director of development, says, “Our main priority is ensuring these homes are fit for the future. The current homes are all below Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) C, and we are pleased to be in a position to work with residents on the future sustainability of their homes”.

We met with residents individually and Rushbrooke & Rougham Parish Council to update them on our plans, and an application is currently with West Suffolk Council for consideration.
