Tree surveys

We want to ensure your community looks it’s best, including trees that we look after. For this reason, we started surveying our tree stock on Wednesday 20 September 2023.

We are working with Hayden’s Arboricultural Consultants, who have over 25 years of experience with tree management. You can find out more about Hayden’s here.

Firstly, these tree surveys are nothing to worry about. We want to thoroughly survey our trees as part of our proactive approach to tree management so that we can maintain a healthy tree stock.

When the survey is completed, we will use the information to update our database to show the location, species, and other details of trees within your community.

Following the survey, and alongside our Arboricultural Maintenance Services Contractor, we will develop our next programme of tree maintenance. This allows us to manage tree risk using a planned and proactive approach.

David Carmichael, Practice Manager at Hayden’s Arboricultural Consultants, says:

“Hayden’s Arboricultural Consultants are delighted to be working in partnership with Havebury Housing by contributing to the positive management of the trees within their ownership. The land that Havebury have responsibility for is very much at the heart of where our team live and work and so we are very pleased to support the local community in maintaining and improving the trees that are so important for us and future generations”.
